Restaurante The Moon
About This Spot
Stepping into Restaurante The Moon feels like joining a lively gathering spot nestled in the heart of Costa Adeje’s bustling Centro Comercial Litoral Fañabé. There’s an inviting hum in the air — the kind that comes from a place both well-loved by locals and discovered by travelers eager to savor authentic, thoughtfully prepared dishes. The pace is warm and unhurried, yet energized by the steady rhythm of friendly exchanges and the subtle clinking of glasses.
The atmosphere balances a relaxed charm with bustling conviviality, where the buzz from the kitchen spills over into the dining area, carrying with it the promise of well-crafted flavors. Diners come with an appetite not only for good food but for moments shared — the familiarity of friends gathering, couples leaning in to enjoy the evening, families carving out a special time together.
The menu feels like a heartfelt invitation to explore Canary Islands’ flavors tempered by touches from afar. From the first sip of a carefully mixed Barraquitto to the gentle flame-kissed aroma rising from the grilled tuna or the rustic appeal of a hearty, mixed paella, each offering tells a part of the story behind The Moon’s kitchen. Dishes arrive thoughtfully paced, allowing the experience to unfold naturally — a honeyed rum pairs seamlessly with tender lamb chops, while fresh, local seafood reminds you of the sea’s proximity and generosity.
What stands out is how the restaurant manages to feel both familiar and a little special, a place where good value meets genuine hospitality. Tables fill steadily as evening rolls in, yet service remains attentive and approachable. It’s a space that embraces the happy clamor of friends reconnecting and the quiet moments savoring a rich tiramisu or a fresh Canarian salad.
For anyone drawn to the comfort of honest food served with warmth amidst a lively backdrop, Restaurante The Moon offers a memorable pause within the vibrant energy of Costa Adeje’s seaside rhythm.

Great meal, fantastic service Walking into the restaurant we were quickly seated and handed a very extensive menu of drinks and food. The food was ordered and served quickly and tasted great. Mixed paella and garlic mushrooms were yummy Meals for 6 incl. Drinks, bread on the table, bottles of water, starters and mains only, came to circa €160 good value. There was a large queue forming as we left so I'd recommend booking, especially on a Sunday. Excellent view over the sea and sunset WiFi available. Good access and ramps Thanks for hosting us

Had to wait 20min to be seated, but being a busy restaurant you should expect this. Did not have to wait at all after being seated for are drinks order which came mins later. Food order 10/15 mins later, the starters and main course were fantastic. I would highly recommend a visit but remember it’s z as busy restaurant from 18.30 onwards most nights

This restaurant is wonderful. Join the queue, it’s moves fast and when you experience the food and service you’ll understand why it’s there. Efficient service Friendly staff Great food Wonderful atmosphere, bustling Lots of happy customers Great drinks Good value for money Our food was lovely, all served in a timely manner. The buzz from the kitchen was unreal. The chef is clearly passionate and he leads his team brilliantly - looks chaotic but as a chef and restauranteur myself I can tell you that this place is a well oiled machine with each cog knowing its job. The front of house are a close knit team and watching them work is like art. My wife had 2 Strawberry Mojitos that were so strong, they nearly floored her Not the cheapest but great value for money given the portion sizes and the quality of the food We had Mussels (among the best I’ve ever had) and Prawn Cocktail to start. A grilled fish platter and the seafood skewers for mains Decent ice cream for puddings. Thank you - not just for a cracking meal but a wonderful experience.

Felt a little rushed when having our orders taken but other than that (and a very loud table behind us) were had a FANTASTIC meal. The best food we've had so far on our holiday and I would HIGHLY recommend a visit if you want quality food, great portion sizes and value for money. I'd recommend heading early, we went at around 7 and it was just starting to get busy by the time we were ready to leave.

Came here for a lunch, busy restaurant and was seated upon arrival. I had the burger which was lovely my husband had the mussels he said they were nice although chef forgot to add the cream to the creamy garlic sauce or maybe didn’t add enough but they were still lovely.

Fantastic restaurant with lovely overlooking the bay, excellent food and reasonable prices. Run by two brothers with excellent staff it is no wonder that queues form at peak times. I recommend booking to ensure that you don't wait. We ended up eating here five nights of our nine and of particular excellence were the home made lasagna and the sea bream with roasted garlic.
